Job Purpose

The Graduate Engineer Trainee – Production role is designed to train fresh engineering graduates in manufacturing and production operations. The trainee will gain hands-on exposure to process flows, productivity improvement, basic automation, quality control, and safety compliance, supporting the organization’s operational excellence goals.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Process Understanding

- Learn and understand end-to-end production processes, equipment, and workflows

- Assist in daily production activities to ensure smooth operations

Process Improvement & Optimization

- Identify process bottlenecks and suggest productivity improvements

- Support continuous improvement initiatives across production lines

Automation & Efficiency

- Assist in implementing simple automation solutions to improve efficiency

- Support process standardization and optimization efforts

Quality & Safety Compliance

- Monitor adherence to quality standards during manufacturing

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and contribute to a safe workplace

Reporting & Coordination

- Assist in preparing production reports, data analysis, and documentation

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production equipment

Qualification & Experience

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related discipline

- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of internship or relevant experience
