Position: Associate SRE Engineer

Location: Hyderabad – DTI Waverock SEZ

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

This role focuses on site reliability engineering, application support, and cloud operations for critical banking applications. You will work on ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of systems in hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Java (J2EE/Spring Boot) or .NET applications in production

- Investigate issues using logs, monitoring tools, and request flow analysis

- Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps maturity improvements

- Participate in release management and change requests

- Ensure high availability and system reliability using observability tools

- Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting

- Collaborate with Dev, SRE, and business teams

- Work in rotational shifts/on-call support for 24x7 systems

Technical Skills Required

SRE & DevOps

- Experience in CI/CD, release management, and automation

- Hands-on with Git and version control workflows

Cloud & Infrastructure

- Experience with AWS or GCP (Hybrid Cloud environments)

- Knowledge of on-prem + cloud infrastructure setups

Containers & Platforms

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry

Monitoring & Observability

- Experience with Grafana, Kibana, AppDynamics

Scripting & Systems

- Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, PowerShell)

- Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems

Database

- Experience with T-SQL or PL/SQL

Eligibility Criteria

- 3–5 years of experience in SRE / DevOps / Application Support

- Strong understanding of application architecture and troubleshooting

- Experience working in production support environments

- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

- Ability to work in high-pressure environments

- Good communication and collaboration skills

- Self-organized with strong prioritization ability
