Cuculus is hiring a System Engineer to manage and support cloud-based and on-prem infrastructure for large-scale utility & AMI projects. This role involves Kubernetes operations, cloud deployments, HA/DR setups, and SLA-driven enterprise support.

- ₹8 LPA – ₹14 LPA (CTC)

What You’ll Do

Technical Support & Operations

- Provide L2/L3 support for backend, Kubernetes, and cloud issues

- Troubleshoot Kubernetes cluster-based applications

- Analyze and resolve client issues within defined SLAs

- Handle incidents end-to-end via calls and ticketing workflows

- Monitor system performance and implement preventive optimizations

- Develop scripts for automation and operational efficiency

Project Deployment & Implementation

- Design network & application architecture

- Deploy applications with High Availability (HA) & Disaster Recovery (DR)

- Manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads

- Deploy and support Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) projects

- Automate server-side operations

- Ensure SLA adherence during project execution

Cloud & Infrastructure Management

- Deploy and manage VM-based cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Tata, NTT, etc.)

- Optimize cloud resource usage and cost

- Manage RBAC, IAM, user access & permissions

- Design and maintain cloud networking

- Maintain on-prem server and network infrastructure

- Support UAT and staging environments

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / related field

- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes deployment & troubleshooting

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud platforms

- Linux system administration & networking fundamentals

- Scripting skills (Shell / Python)

- Knowledge of HA, DR, enterprise architectures

- Experience working in SLA-driven environments

Preferred Skills

- Experience with AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure)

- Exposure to multi-cloud / hybrid cloud environments

- Knowledge of monitoring & logging tools

- Experience in utility or large-scale infrastructure projects
