Role Details

Position: Associate DevOps Cloud Engineer

Location: Chennai City Corporation, Tamil Nadu, India

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure

- Design and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, ECS, Fargate, S3, Route53, CloudWatch, etc.)

- Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability

CI/CD & Automation

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

- Automate deployments and workflows

Infrastructure as Code

- Use Terraform or CloudFormation for provisioning and configuration

Monitoring & Optimization

- Monitor systems and troubleshoot issues

- Optimize application performance and uptime

Security & Compliance

- Implement IAM policies and secrets management

- Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices

Containers & Orchestration

- Work with Docker and Kubernetes

Collaboration & Documentation

- Work with development and security teams

- Maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes

Technical Skills Required

Cloud Platforms

- Hands-on experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP

DevOps & CI/CD

- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions

Scripting

- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell

Infrastructure as Code

- Experience with Terraform / CloudFormation

Containers

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

Monitoring

- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack

Networking & Systems

- Understanding of networking, security, and system administration

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field

- Minimum 2+ years of DevOps / Cloud experience

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

- Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Knowledge of serverless and microservices architecture

- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
