Role Overview

The Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud Operations will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and operational excellence of Copado’s existing AWS and GCP infrastructure. This role focuses on day-to-day cloud operations, incident response, infrastructure maintenance, and CI/CD pipeline support.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain 99.9% uptime of core cloud services

• Monitor AWS and GCP environments and respond to infrastructure alerts

• Perform routine maintenance such as patching, security updates, and resource optimization

• Act as a primary responder for production incidents and reduce MTTR

• Support and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

• Manage and troubleshoot Docker and Kubernetes workloads (EKS/GKE)

• Execute infrastructure updates using Terraform or CloudFormation

• Improve monitoring dashboards using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki

• Assist in security audits and implement IAM and security group updates

Required Technical Skills

• AWS Cloud Engineer / GCP Cloud Engineer hands-on experience

• Linux System Administration & Cloud Operations

• Bash & Python Scripting for Automation

• Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, GKE

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

• CI/CD Pipelines, DevOps Automation

• Cloud Monitoring, Observability, Incident Management

Required Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset

• Ability to work under pressure during incidents

• Clear and effective communication skills

• Ownership-driven and proactive approach

• Willingness to learn Cloud, DevOps, and SRE practices
