About the Role

Configit is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to join its growing team in Chennai. You will be part of an international cloud operations team responsible for managing next-generation Azure cloud solutions and ensuring high availability for enterprise clients across Europe and the USA.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and operate Azure cloud environments (single-tenant).

- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters.

- Secure cloud infrastructure with disaster recovery and backup procedures.

- Support SaaS architecture, cloud automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Collaborate with the global operations manager and technical teams in Europe/USA.

- Ensure service delivery aligns with customer SLAs and compliance standards.

Must-Have Skills

- 2+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

- 1+ year experience with Kubernetes deployments.

- Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, automation scripts, and Git.

- Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases and web application lifecycle.

- Strong PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication (English, verbal & written).

Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience with AWS / multi-cloud environments.

- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Docker, Jenkins.

- ITIL / Scrum methodology knowledge.

- Exposure to Java, C#, Visual Studio, GitHub, TeamCity.

Education

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related field.
