Job Overview

Cognivance is hiring Platform DevOps Engineers (Intern / Experienced) to help design, automate, deploy, and manage cloud-native infrastructure across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. You will work with modern DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud automation technologies while supporting highly scalable enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS and Microsoft Azure.

- Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.

- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, and platform health to ensure high availability and reliability.

- Support infrastructure automation and cloud resource optimization.

- Collaborate with Software Development, QA, Security, and Product teams to improve deployment workflows.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and cloud platform issues.

- Improve platform scalability, reliability, operational efficiency, and system performance.

- Maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, infrastructure diagrams, and operational runbooks.

- Follow DevOps, DevSecOps, and Cloud Security best practices.

- Participate in Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Engineering, or a related field.

- Interns or experienced professionals with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

- Basic understanding of AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.

- Knowledge of DevOps concepts including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure management.

- Familiarity with Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.

- Understanding of compute, networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure concepts.

- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
