About the Role

Codesis Technologies Private Limited is seeking a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to support the development, automation, and cloud infrastructure operations of enterprise-grade applications. The role focuses on enhancing CI/CD pipelines, improving system reliability, and ensuring optimized deployment workflows aligned with industry best practices across high-value global markets including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, and Australia.

Responsibilities

- Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)

- Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Implement automation using shell scripts, Python, or similar languages

- Work with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues

- Improve system reliability, scalability, and security

- Maintain documentation for processes, systems, and tools

- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline releases

- Participate in on-call rotations under senior guidance

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Experience with Git and version control

- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts

- Exposure to Docker or containerization

- Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.)

- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP, load balancing)

- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)

- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)

- Knowledge of security best practices

- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases

- Strong problem-solving abilities

- Effective communication & teamwork

- Detail-oriented with a passion for automation

- Ability to follow guidance and gradually take ownership
