About the Role

Cloudly is hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in DevOps engineering and cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on cloud operations, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, security, and production support for local and international projects.

The successful candidate will help build and maintain reliable cloud environments, automate deployment workflows, support production systems, and improve infrastructure performance, security, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab.

- Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, RDS, IAM, S3, ELB, VPC, Route 53, and CloudWatch.

- Administer Linux servers and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.

- Build, deploy, and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes workloads.

- Automate operational tasks using Bash and Python scripting.

- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to provision and manage cloud resources.

- Configure and maintain cloud networking, load balancing, and application connectivity.

- Support applications and services using NGINX, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.

- Monitor production environments and investigate incidents to maintain system reliability.

- Implement and maintain security controls, backups, disaster recovery procedures, and infrastructure cost optimization.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable infrastructure for local and global projects.

- Support deployment and operational requirements for modern applications and production workloads.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or a related technical role.

- Strong knowledge of Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, EKS/Fargate, Lambda, RDS, IAM, S3, ELB, VPC, Route 53, and CloudWatch.

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab.

- Practical scripting experience using Bash and/or Python.

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and cloud networking fundamentals.

- Experience with NGINX, PostgreSQL or MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and production environments.

- Understanding of monitoring, security, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and cloud cost optimization.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

- AWS certifications or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).

- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Knowledge of MongoDB.

- Exposure to Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.

- Experience supporting healthcare infrastructure.

- Exposure to AI/GPU infrastructure or machine learning deployment.
