Role Overview

We are seeking a Trainee DevOps Engineer to join our growing DevOps team. This is a unique opportunity for graduates or early professionals with a passion for cloud infrastructure, DevOps engineering, and automation. You will gain hands-on experience managing AWS environments, building CI/CD pipelines, and supporting production deployments in a regulated fintech payments environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage AWS cloud environments across a microservices architecture with high availability, scalability, and security.

- Support production deployments with automated rollback and zero downtime.

- Follow PCI-compliant change control procedures.

- Provide 3rd-line technical support for infrastructure-related issues.

- Build, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications.

- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using modern DevOps tools.

- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to troubleshoot issues.

- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and security.

- Document systems, processes, and technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

- 0–1 year of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.

- Basic knowledge of AWS services (ECS, Lambda, EC2, S3).

- Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

- Basic scripting in Linux Bash or Python.

- Understanding of containers (Docker).

- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and documentation skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

- Experience with Azure DevOps.

- AWS Certification (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect).

- Hands-on with Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate, ECS/EKS, Lambda, Batch.

- Exposure to automation testing frameworks (BDD).
