Role Overview

Burns & McDonnell India is seeking a DevOps Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation solutions. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive on building scalable, secure, and high-performing systems across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, AWS CloudFormation, and Terraform.

- Manage automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for provisioning, scaling, and deployment through Terraform and Ansible.

- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.

- Implement and manage containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Maintain uptime and reliability using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.

- Enforce DevOps security practices across applications and infrastructure.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to enhance DevOps workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.

- Proficiency in Terraform and Configuration Management (Ansible).

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong knowledge of Python or Bash scripting.

- Expertise in networking: VPC, VPN, DNS, Load Balancers.

- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, scaling, and backup solutions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with ArgoCD, Helm for Kubernetes automation.

- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.

- Understanding of serverless computing (AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions).

- Familiarity with secret management tools like Vault.
