About the Team & Role – SRE Intern

The Platform & SRE team at Bright is responsible for ensuring infrastructure reliability, scalability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence across cloud systems. As an SRE Intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to DevOps, AWS cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and incident response in a real-world FinTech environment.

This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.

What You Will Do – Key Responsibilities

- Support daily SRE and DevOps operations

- Assist with AWS cost analysis, tagging, compliance, usage reporting, and optimization

- Improve monitoring, alerting systems, dashboards, and runbooks

- Contribute to automation using scripting (Bash / Python)

- Perform troubleshooting tasks such as log analysis and metrics reporting

- Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and internal processes

- Participate in On-Call rotations to support infrastructure reliability

- Basic understanding of Linux systems and shell commands

- Basic coding knowledge in Bash or Python
