Job Summary

Bayer is hiring a DevOps Engineer to design, build, automate, and operate secure AWS cloud platforms that support enterprise applications and digital products. You will work closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to build modern CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud infrastructure, improve platform reliability, strengthen cloud security, and enable continuous software delivery.

This role is ideal for professionals experienced in AWS Cloud, DevOps Engineering, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, Automation, and Platform Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

- Develop, optimize, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines for continuous software delivery.

- Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions for cloud environments.

- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, deployment, and application issues while performing root cause analysis (RCA).

- Collaborate with software development, QA, product, and operations teams to improve release processes.

- Implement DevSecOps best practices by integrating security scanning and vulnerability assessments into CI/CD pipelines.

- Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and operational excellence across cloud platforms.

- Continuously improve automation, cloud performance, scalability, and platform reliability using Agile and DevOps best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

- Experience with DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps principles.

- Experience working in Agile product development teams.

- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
