DevOps Engineer I – Cloud & Infrastructure Automation

---

What You’ll Do

- Build and manage containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and managed container services

- Architect scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on GCP and AWS

- Automate provisioning & configuration using Terraform and Ansible

- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

- Implement monitoring & logging frameworks such as Prometheus, Cloud Logging, GCP Monitoring

- Embed security and reliability across infrastructure, IAM, networking, and deployment strategies

- Define deployment strategies including blue/green, canary, and rollback mechanisms

- Create reusable automation scripts using Python and Bash

- Integrate Istio service mesh for traffic management & observability

- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product teams

- Document systems, tooling, and processes for scalability

- Continuously enhance platform reliability and drive incident response improvements

What You’ll Bring

- 2–3 years hands-on experience with AWS and GCP in production environments

- Strong understanding of compute, networking, IAM, VPC design & integration services

- Experience building and maintaining Kubernetes & Docker environments

- Exposure to service mesh tools such as Istio

- Fluent in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)

- Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

- Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, Bash)

- Knowledge of observability best practices (Prometheus, Cloud Logging, GCP Monitoring)

- Ability to think in terms of reliability, SLAs, and long-term stability

- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration

- Familiarity with GitOps workflows

- Contributions to open-source or internal tooling
