Role Details

Position: Azure Cloud Systems Engineer (Entry-Level)

Location: Hybrid (USA Remote / Boston / Reston)

Experience: 0+ Years (Freshers Eligible)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $77,000 – $117,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure stability and scalability of cloud-based infrastructure and systems

- Support system integration, validation, and performance analysis

- Manage and monitor distributed virtual machines and cloud environments

- Assist in infrastructure operations including deployments, updates, and backups

- Perform troubleshooting and resolve infrastructure-related issues

- Support documentation of systems, configurations, and processes

- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams

- Contribute to improving system reliability and operational efficiency

Technical Skills Required

Cloud & Infrastructure

- Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform

- Knowledge of cloud architecture, virtual machines, and distributed systems

Systems & Networking

- Fundamentals of Windows/Linux OS administration

- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, IP, ports, connectivity)

DevOps & Automation

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts

- Exposure to automation and scripting (PowerShell / Bash)

Version Control & Tools

- Basic knowledge of Git version control

- Understanding of monitoring, backups, and system maintenance

Additional Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

- 0+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure (freshers can apply)

- Willingness to obtain cloud certification within 6 months

- Active Secret Clearance (Mandatory)

Nice to Have Skills

- Experience with Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104)

- Exposure to enterprise or government cloud environments

- Understanding of DevOps practices and cloud security

- Experience supporting DoD/IC systems
