Role Overview

Alyke is seeking an entry‑level DevOps Engineer L1 to assist in automating processes, managing deployments, and maintaining cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate has foundational DevOps knowledge and a desire to grow in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

- Monitor application performance and analyze logs to resolve issues rapidly.

- Perform routine server tasks: monitoring, backup management, patching.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless, automated releases.

- Maintain and optimize infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Implement fundamental security measures (firewall configuration, patch management).

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related discipline.

- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI.

- Basic experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Bash, Python).

- Understanding of Docker; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

- Internship or project work involving infrastructure automation.

- Exposure to monitoring and alerting stacks (Prometheus, Grafana).

- Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
