Summary of the Position

The eCommerce Test Expert will work closely with Product Owners and engineering teams to define User Story test criteria, modernize legacy test cases, execute various testing phases, and automate test scenarios to ensure high-quality delivery and excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret legacy software requirements and test cases.

- Modernize and convert them into updated software test artifacts.

- Build traceability between requirements, test cases, and implementation.

- Use Azure DevOps and Polarion for tracking and documentation.

- Apply Python scripting for automation and tooling enhancements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for alignment and quality assurance.

- Execute dry run, regression, smoke, sanity, and formal test cycles.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Familiarity with SDLC and requirement management practices.

- Basic experience with Python, automation, or any scripting language.

- Exposure to Azure DevOps or Polarion is an added advantage.

- Strong analytical and communication skills.

- Eagerness to learn and grow into engineering roles.

- Basic understanding of OOP concepts in any modern programming language.

- 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST
