Join Akamai’s IaaS Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team and help design, develop, and operate the infrastructure and services that power our global cloud backbone. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a team building a public cloud from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to building and automating Linux-based platform services.

- Assist in engineering DNS, PKI, and secure access services.

- Participate in observability, monitoring, and incident response.

- Learn and apply automation using Python, Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack.

- Support OS upgrades, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.

- Play a role in the early phases of our global public cloud build-out.

Required Skills & Experience

- 1–3 years of Linux Systems Engineering / SRE / DevOps experience.

- Strong hands-on Linux troubleshooting and system administration.

- Intermediate Python programming skills.

- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack.

- Curiosity and passion for automation, reliability, and scalability.
