Role Details

Position: Cloud Support Engineer (AkaTec Weekend Shift)

Location: India *(Remote)*

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 2–4 Years

Shift: Weekend Shift *(Saturday–Monday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)*

About the Role

You will work with a global technical support team, resolving complex issues across distributed cloud systems and ensuring high availability, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and resolve customer technical issues independently

- Troubleshoot cloud platform and distributed system problems

- Perform data analysis for issue mitigation and prevention

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

- Support peers and ensure smooth work handovers

- Create technical documentation and knowledge articles

- Improve processes and contribute to continuous innovation

Technical Skills Required

Cloud & Systems

- Experience with cloud-based distributed systems

- Understanding of system architecture and traffic flow

Operating Systems

- Strong knowledge of Linux / Unix systems

Networking

- Understanding of internet protocols and networking concepts

Troubleshooting

- Strong skills in debugging and root cause analysis

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field

- 2–4 years of experience in technical support or cloud roles

- Experience supporting B2B clients and enterprise systems

Soft Skills

- Strong customer-focused mindset

- Excellent communication (calls/emails)

- Analytical thinking and problem-solving

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

- Team collaboration and knowledge sharing
