Job Overview

Adtran is hiring a DevOps Engineer for its Bangalore office. This full-time opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who want hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, AWS, Linux administration, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and security teams to build scalable, reliable, secure, and automated cloud platforms. You'll gain practical exposure to modern DevOps tools while contributing to production-grade infrastructure supporting enterprise networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

- Automate deployment workflows and operational processes using Bash and Shell scripting.

- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Linux-based production environments.

- Create, deploy, and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes workloads.

- Provision and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and Amazon EKS.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.

- Configure monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Amazon CloudWatch.

- Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and security teams to improve software delivery efficiency.

- Monitor application performance and ensure high availability of cloud infrastructure.

- Participate in troubleshooting production issues and infrastructure optimization.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.

- 0–1 year of professional experience or strong academic/project experience in DevOps, Cloud Computing, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

- Good understanding of Linux operating systems.

- Knowledge of AWS cloud fundamentals.

- Experience with Git and version control systems.
