Role Overview

Learneo is hiring a motivated DevOps Engineer I to join the Platform SRE team. This role supports the design, deployment, and maintenance of a multiregion, multicloud infrastructure, primarily focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will collaborate closely with senior DevOps engineers to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across global distributed systems.

This position offers hands-on experience with:

• Kubernetes (GKE)
• GitLab CI
• ArgoCD
• Terraform & Infrastructure Automation

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing multiregion and multicloud infrastructure for performance and reliability
• Support GCP provisioning, deployments, and cloud operations
• Collaborate with development teams to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI
• Work on Kubernetes cluster management (GKE and other managed Kubernetes platforms)
• Contribute to GitOps workflows using ArgoCD
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools
• Monitor system health and participate in on-call rotation
• Assist in incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements
• Document operational processes, create runbooks, and enhance internal best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1+ years experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles
• Strong foundation in Linux/Unix systems and networking
• Hands-on experience with cloud services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC
• Understanding of Kubernetes concepts
• Familiarity with CI/CD, GitOps, and ArgoCD
• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or GCP Cloud Monitoring)
• Scripting experience: Python, Bash, or Go
• Awareness of cloud-native security and compliance
• Interest in multicloud and global infrastructure
