About the Role

Nordcloud is hiring a skilled DevOps Engineer to support large-scale cloud transformation projects across the United Kingdom. As a European cloud leader, Nordcloud delivers high-value cloud modernization services across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, serving enterprise-level customers across high-CPC regions including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, and Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Manage Azure cloud infrastructure including provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization
• Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with developers & architects to improve deployment automation and release management
• Own & optimize GitHub repositories across the organization
• Maintain code quality, branching strategies, and best-practice repository structure
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
• Ensure security, compliance, and audit readiness following public-sector standards
• Provide consultancy on Azure DevOps, GitHub, and automation practices
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and performance issues

Requirements

• Azure Certified (AZ-104, AZ-400 or similar)
• Minimum 3 years experience in DevOps
• Minimum 1 year working with GitHub
• Experience with public-sector or consulting projects
• Strong understanding of Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, SDLC, CI/CD

Preferred

• GitHub Foundations Certificate (GH-900)
