About the Team & Role

Swiggy’s engineering team is responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms used by customers, partners, and delivery executives. As an ASDET, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of mobile, web, backend, and frontend applications.

Responsibilities

Conduct functional testing for mobile applications (Android/iOS).
Perform API testing using Java; experience with Selenium and Appium preferred.
Develop test plans and cases ensuring maximum test coverage.
Use testing tools such as JIRA, Postman, and Charles Proxy.
Understand SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.
Manage defect life cycle with proper severity and priority assignment.
Execute multi-platform testing with attention to detail.
Work cross-functionally with engineering, QA, and product teams.

Required Skills & Qualities

Strong understanding of software testing principles.
Knowledge of HTTP and REST APIs.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience with Selenium, Appium, Java is a plus.
Familiarity with LambdaTest, BrowserStack preferred.
