Role Overview

As an Associate Cloud Support Engineer, you will provide frontline cloud operations and technical support for the Sphera Cloud Platform.
Your primary focus will be monitoring, triaging, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and applications, ensuring continuous uptime and seamless performance for clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Provide operational support for Sphera Cloud Product Suite, including infrastructure and applications.
Monitor, analyze, and respond to system alerts and service incidents in a 24x7x365 global cloud operations environment.
Manage and triage customer-reported issues, automated alerts, and operational tickets.
Perform maintenance activities such as patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with global engineering and product teams for incident resolution and escalation management.
Document troubleshooting steps, procedures, and technical knowledge base updates.
Utilize tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and other cloud management platforms.
Ensure compliance with ITIL-based processes and best practices.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and proactive monitoring solutions.

Requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for global collaboration.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cloud-based support environment.
Basic understanding of Public Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Eagerness to learn new technologies and participate in continuous skill development.
Availability to work in rotational shifts (24x7 support model).

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Azure Administrator (AZ-104).
Additional Skills:
- Understanding of ITIL frameworks and service operations.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring, ticketing systems, and incident management tools.
- Exposure to Linux/Windows administration, networking basics, and cloud service APIs.
