About the Role – Cloud Engineer
As a Cloud Engineer at Keyloop, you will design, secure, and scale cloud-native environments. You will leverage AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD to build high-performing infrastructure. This role emphasizes automation, observability, cost optimization, and cloud security best practices.
You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, and customer success teams while driving DevOps innovation and mentoring peers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure
- Manage Kubernetes (EKS) clusters for modern containerized applications
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub & GitHub Actions
- Manage GitOps workflows with Argo CD
- Ensure observability with Grafana & New Relic
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable deployments
- Lead incident management & root cause analysis with clear stakeholder updates
- Drive automation of workflows to enhance team efficiency
- Stay updated on AI/ML cloud services and emerging technologies
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, VPC)
- Proven experience in Kubernetes & Amazon EKS (mandatory)
- Proficiency with Terraform for IaC (mandatory)
- CI/CD automation using GitHub & GitHub Actions
- GitOps workflow management with Argo CD
- Monitoring & observability using Grafana & New Relic
- Strong scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Deep knowledge of cloud security practices
- Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
Highly Desirable
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
- Experience with AI/ML cloud services (SageMaker, Bedrock)
- Knowledge of serverless computing & event-driven architectures
- Experience with data engineering pipelines on AWS
- Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
