Role Overview
As a Digital Media Engineer (DevOps) at Haleon, you will be at the forefront of digital innovation, driving technical excellence in our Media team. You will execute engineering tasks, design and manage microservice-based APIs, and develop scalable, reliable, and secure solutions to support business requirements.
This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in Python, back-end development, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure, who are passionate about automation, continuous integration, and digital media technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute engineering tasks from concept to completion, delivering tangible business value.
- Develop well-structured code to build and manage microservice-based RESTful APIs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the Media ecosystem, creating actionable solutions.
- Enforce engineering best practices, fostering a Test-driven, DevOps-first culture.
- Identify non-functional requirements such as performance, security, and accessibility, guiding best practices across the team.
- Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to implement innovative technical solutions.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git/GitHub), and infrastructure automation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a DevOps or Digital Media Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud platform and associated services.
- Strong Python or other scripting language knowledge.
- Experience in digital marketing delivery including Google Marketing Platforms, GA4, GTM, Meta Business Manager, and paid media campaigns.
- Solid understanding of database systems and SQL technologies.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of PowerApps, Power BI, and Synapse Analytics.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with Scrum-based Agile development.
