About the Role

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in AWS Cloud Services, Infrastructure as Code, and Automation. This role is crucial in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure that is scalable, secure, and cost-efficient.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive automation, CI/CD, monitoring, and optimization for enterprise-level cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities

• AWS Cloud Management

  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure.
  • Ensure performance, security, and cost efficiency across environments.

• Automated Provisioning

  • Implement provisioning with Terraform and Packer.
  • Streamline cloud resource deployment using automation.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Maintain IaC scripts for deployment & configuration.
  • Promote best practices across development and operations teams.

• Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate deployments for seamless application delivery.

• Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting

  • Deploy monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, ELK stack).
  • Optimize resource utilization and resolve performance issues.

• Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with developers, architects, and stakeholders.
  • Communicate infrastructure updates and improvements clearly.

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with AWS.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, Packer, CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash).
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Preferred / Secondary Skills

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, Microservices.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, ELK).

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
