Join Akamai’s IaaS Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team and help design, develop, and operate the infrastructure and services that power our global cloud backbone. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a team building a public cloud from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to building and automating Linux-based platform services.
Assist in engineering DNS, PKI, and secure access services.
Participate in observability, monitoring, and incident response.
Learn and apply automation using Python, Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack.
Support OS upgrades, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
Play a role in the early phases of our global public cloud build-out.

Required Skills & Experience

1–3 years of Linux Systems Engineering / SRE / DevOps experience.
Strong hands-on Linux troubleshooting and system administration.
Intermediate Python programming skills.
Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack.
Curiosity and passion for automation, reliability, and scalability.
