Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer I (Graduate), you will be part of a high-performing infrastructure team, contributing to the development of scalable, secure, and innovative systems that support Mintel’s global clients. This position provides hands-on experience with cloud, observability, and open-source tools while working alongside experienced engineers and architects.

This role is perfect for graduates passionate about Cloud, Infrastructure, and DevOps Engineering who want to build a career with a global market leader.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in building and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions.
Research, test, and assess emerging technologies for adoption.
Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver infrastructure capabilities aligned with technical roadmaps.
Configure and manage observability tools such as Prometheus, Loki, and Cortex.
Contribute to open-source projects and leverage tools within our stack.
Maintain system documentation for clarity and knowledge sharing.
Continuously upskill through mentorship and hands-on project experience.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Basic knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Loki).
Exposure to scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash, Go).
Interest in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Enthusiasm for open-source technologies.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Internship/project experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Experience in Agile/collaborative environments.
