Role Overview
As an Associate in Tech Ops Engineering, you will be part of a highly skilled team responsible for infrastructure operations, cloud engineering, application performance monitoring, and cyber security-driven technology solutions.
This role provides opportunities to work with global-scale systems, cutting-edge tools, and next-gen cloud technologies while building a strong career foundation in IT operations, DevOps, and systems security.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver production support in service delivery and operations environments.
- Work with application servers, monitoring tools, and performance optimization.
- Implement ITIL Service Operations processes for efficient IT service management.
- Manage cloud systems (AWS, Azure, OpenShift, Oracle Cloud) with a focus on scalability and security.
- Support containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Handle file transfer protocols (AS2, FTPs, SFTP, HTTPS, IBM Connect Direct).
- Apply cryptography algorithms (X509, PGP, encryption, compression).
- Automate deployments with Chef, Puppet, IO, or similar tools.
- Manage Linux systems, networking (TCP/IP), firewalls, and databases.
- Write and maintain Unix Shell Scripts, JSON, Java, HTML5, and JavaScript code.
- Support distributed multi-tier systems, relational & NoSQL databases.
- Contribute to agile practices and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
- Strong background in IT operations, production support, or service delivery.
- Hands-on skills in scripting (Shell, Python), coding (Java, JSON, JavaScript, HTML5).
- Understanding of cloud computing, DevOps workflows, and infrastructure security.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
