Role Overview – Junior DevOps Engineer
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you’ll support enterprise-level cloud automation, infrastructure as code, cybersecurity compliance, and CI/CD pipelines. This is an entry-level opportunity to grow into a Cloud Security Engineer, FinTech Cloud Specialist, or AI/ML DevOps Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
- AWS Cloud Management: EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch monitoring.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform / CloudFormation automation.
- DevOps for FinTech & Insurance: Build & maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Apply least-privilege IAM, encryption, GDPR & HIPAA compliance policies.
- AI/ML Integration: Support automation scripts in Python/Bash for data-driven decisions.
- Cost Optimization for Enterprise Cloud: Identify cloud savings for financial & SaaS clients.
- Disaster Recovery & High Availability: Participate in incident response and resilience testing.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
- Familiarity with Terraform / CloudFormation.
- Exposure to financial/healthcare IT compliance is a plus.
- Basic scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Understanding of DevOps in regulated industries (FinTech, Healthcare, Legal Tech).
Preferred Skills
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Cloud Storage, IAM, BigQuery, GKE.
- Containers & Kubernetes: Docker, ECS, EKS.
- Cybersecurity Tools: SIEM, ELK Stack, Vulnerability Scanning.
- DataOps/AI: Automation for predictive analytics & fraud detection in finance.
- Enterprise SaaS Integration: Salesforce, SAP, Oracle Cloud.
