About the Role

Configit is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to join its growing team in Chennai. You will be part of an international cloud operations team responsible for managing next-generation Azure cloud solutions and ensuring high availability for enterprise clients across Europe and the USA.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and operate Azure cloud environments (single-tenant).
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters.
Secure cloud infrastructure with disaster recovery and backup procedures.
Support SaaS architecture, cloud automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with the global operations manager and technical teams in Europe/USA.
Ensure service delivery aligns with customer SLAs and compliance standards.

Must-Have Skills

2+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
1+ year experience with Kubernetes deployments.
Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, automation scripts, and Git.
Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases and web application lifecycle.
Strong PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication (English, verbal & written).

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with AWS / multi-cloud environments.
Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Docker, Jenkins.
ITIL / Scrum methodology knowledge.
Exposure to Java, C#, Visual Studio, GitHub, TeamCity.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related field.
