Position Summary
We are hiring a Graduate Engineer Trainee (E&I) to join our Electrical & Instrumentation Team.
This role offers fresh graduates the opportunity to build a strong foundation in electrical and instrumentation engineering within a world-class manufacturing setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, selection, and integration of E&I components for pumps and compressor systems.
- Support the preparation of wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, cable schedules, and loop diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools.
- Participate in PLC/SCADA programming, instrumentation configuration, and system testing.
- Prepare technical documents such as data sheets, I/O lists, design specifications, and test reports.
- Draft enquiry specifications for transmitters, gauges, junction boxes, and local control stations.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Production, Quality, and Project Engineering teams.
- Participate in panel inspections, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and site commissioning support.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and customer specifications.
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for E&I issues.
Technical / Functional Skills
- Internship or project experience in industrial automation or process instrumentation.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation devices, sensors, actuators, VFDs, and motor starters.
- Familiarity with control systems, PLCs, HMI, SCADA, and industrial communication protocols.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN preferred.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation.
- Strong academic foundation in E&I engineering principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
