About the Program

The Enterprise Technology & Security (ETS) Summer Internship Program at Citizens Bank is designed to give students and recent graduates hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering.
Interns will work on cloud modernization projects, learn from senior engineers, and gain exposure to cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security practices.

Internship Experience

• Support the implementation of cloud-based solutions.
• Provide technical support to cloud solution end-users.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of cloud applications.
• Gain mentorship, leadership exposure, and professional development through:
  • Orientation with ETS interns.
  • Workshops (e.g., Personal Branding, Communication).
  • Social activities (BBQ, sports events).
  • Community service projects.

Post-Internship Opportunity

High-performing interns may receive a full-time offer to join the Enterprise Technology & Security Development Program (ETSDP) after graduation, with career paths in:

• Cloud Engineering
• Software Engineering

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field.
• Expected graduation: May 2027.
• Minimum GPA: 3.0.
• Programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, C, Python, .Net, Node, SQL.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Kibana, Datadog, or monitoring tools.
• Cybersecurity coursework preferred.
