Role Overview

As an SDET Intern at Sprinto, you will gain hands-on experience in test automation, debugging, and quality assurance while working alongside experienced developers and QA engineers. This role is perfect for students and fresh graduates looking to start a career in software testing, quality engineering, and automation development.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in writing and maintaining automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
Collaborate with mentors to review product requirements and design test strategies.
Improve test coverage by identifying missing cases and reducing test flakiness.
Support manual testing and regression runs for new product features.
Work with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure end-to-end functionality validation.

Requirements

Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript/Node.js (Python, Java, or similar languages are also acceptable).
Familiarity with at least one automation framework (Playwright, Selenium, Jest, PyTest, etc.).
Understanding of software testing fundamentals – test cases, assertions, debugging basics.
Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
