Horizon56 builds innovative software solutions for the oil & gas industry, empowering global enterprises with digital transformation. As part of our IT – Operations team, you’ll gain real-world experience in Azure cloud, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps engineering.

This role is offered in partnership with Greaves Technologies (Chennai), with opportunities to collaborate with teams across Norway, Denmark, USA, and the UK.

Role Overview

We are looking for DevOps Engineer Trainees eager to learn and contribute to cloud computing, CI/CD automation, and Azure infrastructure management. The initial contract is 6 months, with the possibility of a permanent position based on performance.

What You’ll Learn & Contribute To

Fundamentals of Cloud Computing (Microsoft Azure)
Supporting Azure security and compliance models
Assisting in deployment & management of cloud infrastructure, serverless, and containers
Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, YAML scripting)
Exposure to Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity in cloud environments
Practical use of Azure-native services like App Services, Azure SQL, and AKS (Kubernetes)

Preferred Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed B.E / B.Tech / BCA / MCA / M.Tech in Computer Science or IT
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
Familiarity with scripting/coding (Python, PowerShell, YAML)
Eagerness to build a career in Azure DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE
Strong communication & collaboration skills
