About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer at CleverTap, you will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and improving day-to-day operations that keep our global engagement platform secure, scalable, and highly available. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to platform architecture, and support real-world deployments serving billions of devices worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) ensuring security and availability.
- Recommend and implement improvements to SOPs and infrastructure.
- Execute planned development stories with straightforward implementations.
- Participate in platform architecture and design discussions.
- Collaborate with engineering and customer success teams.
- Work with vendor support teams to resolve technical issues.
Must-Have Requirements
- Education: BS/MS in Computer Science (preferably from premier institutes) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 1–3 years in DevOps engineering roles.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform / AWS CloudFormation in production.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes for application packaging and deployment.
- Prior experience in on-call production support.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Proficiency in one programming language (Golang / Java preferred).
- AWS DevOps Certification.
