Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll collaborate with developers, QA, and IT operations to improve CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and enhance system reliability. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to learn and grow in the DevOps and cloud infrastructure domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) with Terraform / CloudFormation.
• Monitor and maintain systems with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
• Support configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Deploy applications and ensure smooth releases.
• Collaborate with developers to meet infrastructure needs.
• Maintain Git-based version control and branching strategies.
• Troubleshoot issues across dev, test, and production.
• Write and maintain clear technical documentation.

Requirements

Must-Have

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools.
• Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Understanding of Git version control.
• Interest in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Zoho Catalyst and PaaS platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
• Hands-on with Docker / containers.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of ELK Stack, Prometheus, monitoring tools.
