About the Opportunity
RemoteStar, on behalf of a leading global IT services and consulting company (300,000+ employees worldwide), is hiring a DevOps Engineer. The client works with Fortune 500 enterprises across finance, retail, telecom, AI, cloud, and digital engineering domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Development & Operations Integration: Work with dev and IT operations teams to automate and streamline delivery.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Implement and maintain pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and related tools.
- Monitoring & Logging: Maintain monitoring systems (Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Incident & Problem Management: Troubleshoot issues with minimal downtime and customer impact.
- Security & Compliance: Apply security best practices, GDPR, and NIS2 compliance.
- Operational Readiness: Ensure smooth handover of applications from development to production.
- Project Maturation: Oversee and improve quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Your Profile & Competencies
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
- Organized & Structured: Systematic in handling tasks and processes.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Proficient in CI/CD tools – Jenkins, GitHub, ArgoCD.
- Experience with monitoring tools – Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms – Kubernetes/RedHat OpenShift, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong foundation in Linux, GraphQL, Kafka, Couchbase, Oracle, Angular, WebLogic, HTML5, Apache, Reactive Architecture.
- Telecom Knowledge: Familiarity with telecom technologies is a plus.
- AI Tools: Exposure to AI technologies is an asset.
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of GDPR & NIS2 regulations.
- Language Skills: Fluent English (mandatory). Dutch and/or French are a plus.
