About the Role
Intertek, a global leader in Total Quality Assurance, is hiring an Associate DevOps Engineer (Mobile Apps) to join its Wisetail team. This role combines mobile engineering and DevOps practices, focusing on building reliable, scalable, and secure systems. You’ll support iOS, MAUI, and React Native/Expo applications, strengthen CI/CD pipelines, and drive mobile app reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and optimize mobile CI/CD pipelines for App Store & Play Store delivery.
- Collaborate with mobile engineers on performance debugging, crash analysis, and instrumentation.
- Implement monitoring & observability with Splunk, Firebase, and OpenTelemetry (OTel).
- Co-own app deployment and store metadata processes.
- Support QA automation with TestRail, LambdaTest, and Postman.
- Participate in incident response, RCA, and postmortems.
- Monitor & maintain AWS infrastructure for uptime, scalability, and performance.
- Automate operations using Python, Node.js, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Contribute to backup, disaster recovery, and operational readiness.
- Participate in on-call rotations and production deployments.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of Swift/iOS development; familiarity with MAUI & React Native/Expo.
- Experience with GitHub Actions/Xcode Cloud CI/CD.
- Strong debugging skills & mobile performance analysis experience.
- Familiarity with Splunk, Firebase, OTel, LambdaTest, TestRail, Postman.
- Understanding of DevOps/SRE culture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mobile performance tuning & ANR tracing.
- Familiarity with mobile app security & pentesting.
- Hands-on with AWS mobile integration services.
- Exposure to AI/LLM tools for engineering workflows.
- Passion for resilient, scalable systems & developer velocity.
