We are hiring a Systems Engineer (Entry-Level / Fresher) to join our Infrastructure Engineering team in Pune, India. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and systems administration with a global technology leader.
Role Summary
The Systems Engineer is responsible for monitoring and controlling client operating systems to ensure high performance and availability. You will support the design, automation, and optimization of infrastructure solutions while working closely with senior engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to align with the strategic direction of Infrastructure Engineering.
- Support automated build methodologies for servers, load balancer VIPs, firewall rules, and policies.
- Design and optimize new infrastructure solutions across multiple engineering projects.
- Maintain installation and configuration procedures while driving automation.
- Promote cross-training and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
- Work with management and technical peers to establish policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance, security, and availability of managed infrastructure services.
- Provide technical documentation and up-to-date procedures to operational teams.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Infrastructure Coordinators on deliverables.
- Continuously improve availability, scalability, and performance of systems.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with equivalent technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of systems administration, Linux/Windows OS, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation, DevOps, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
