We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (Fresher) who is passionate about cloud infrastructure, DevOps, automation, and observability to join our growing team in Trivandrum, Kerala.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-Day Operations (BAU): Monitor and maintain system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure 99.99% uptime and high availability.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build secure and scalable IaC solutions using industry standards.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines with Octopus, GitLab-CI, ArgoCD, and other cloud-native tools.
• Automation Tools: Create and maintain automation scripts for operational excellence and efficiency.
• Observability & Monitoring: Implement monitoring solutions using Prometheus, PromQL, and logging systems for proactive issue detection.
• Runbooks: Develop comprehensive runbooks for incident management, remediation, and service restoration.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve production issues and optimize processes.
• On-Call Support: Participate in rotational shifts and on-call duties to provide continuous support.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor logs, analyze performance metrics, and proactively enhance system reliability.
• Research & Best Practices: Stay updated with latest Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, observability, and cloud automation trends.
• Communication: Effectively document processes and collaborate with peers in both written and verbal formats.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix, networking, and system administration.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus.
• Exposure to scripting/programming in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
