As Foxit expands its SaaS platforms and DevOps capabilities, we are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our high-performance global engineering team. This role focuses on cloud automation, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, security engineering, and AI-enabled operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

Deploy and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
Manage containerized workloads with Docker & Kubernetes (EKS), using Helm for packaging and deployments.
Implement modern deployment strategies: Blue-Green, Canary, and Rolling Updates.
Develop automation scripts in Python & Bash to optimize system operations.
Research and integrate AI-driven tools for log analysis, incident response, and monitoring.

CI/CD & Reliability Engineering

Build, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
Manage monitoring & observability using Datadog, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor.
Implement log aggregation systems and conduct performance monitoring & proactive troubleshooting.

Security & Compliance

Apply OWASP Top 10 principles in cloud and infrastructure security.
Integrate SAST/DAST tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Configure WAF rules, IAM policies, and network security protocols.
Manage the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle: scanning, prioritization, and remediation.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills (Must Have)

Scripting: Strong experience with Python & Bash; working knowledge of Java/PHP.
Cloud Platforms: 1+ years hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda).
Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in Terraform (CloudFormation a plus).
Containerization: 1+ years in Docker & Kubernetes (EKS/AKS); Helm chart management.
CI/CD Pipelines: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
Version Control: Expert Git workflows, branching, and versioning.
Linux/Unix: Strong system administration and command-line expertise.

Technical Skills (Nice to Have)

Monitoring tools: Datadog, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor.
Security tools: SAST, DAST, WAF, Vulnerability scanners.
Networking: DNS, VPNs, Load Balancers, Network Security.
Databases: RDS, Azure SQL, container-based DB deployments.

Experience

1–3 years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Experience managing staging/production systems with measurable impact on scalability and reliability.
Strong ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues independently.
Fast learner with proven ability to adopt and implement new technologies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
