About the Role

Leap is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to strengthen and manage our cloud infrastructure. This role is designed for professionals who can ensure seamless deployments, drive infrastructure upgrades, and provide high availability and scalable solutions for our rapidly growing systems.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure zero-downtime deployments.
Manage auto-scaling of infrastructure during high-traffic periods.
Identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues in production.
Support development teams with environment setup and troubleshooting.
Manage alerting and monitoring tools for system reliability.
Stay updated with DevOps best practices and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Expertise

1.5 – 3 years of experience in DevOps or similar role.
Proficiency in AWS Services: EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, VPC.
Strong knowledge of Docker (Containerization) and Kubernetes (Orchestration).
Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages for automation.
Hands-on experience with Nginx as reverse proxy, load balancer, and web server.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools: ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
Expertise in datastore management: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis.
Strong understanding of Git and version control best practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Strong problem-solving ability in cloud infrastructure management.
Passion for automation, CI/CD pipelines, and high availability systems.
Experience working in fast-paced startup environments is a plus.
