Role: Junior Java Developer
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Java Developer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This is an excellent opportunity to start or grow your career in software engineering, working on enterprise-level projects for global clients in industries such as finance, telecom, healthcare, and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Implement business functionalities and user interfaces based on requirements and specifications.
- Conduct code optimization, debugging, and unit testing to ensure high-quality software solutions.
- Enhance application performance and streamline workflows for enterprise software platforms.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support, troubleshooting technical issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles, contributing to sprint planning and code reviews.
- Stay updated with emerging software technologies, frameworks, and cloud platforms.
- Contribute to software architecture discussions and implementation strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 1+ years of Java development experience (freshers with strong knowledge may also apply).
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and Data Structures.
- Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JSP.
- Familiarity with multithreading concepts and application scalability.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global, distributed team environment.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, or other version control systems.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to enterprise-level applications and microservices architecture.
