Role Overview: Junior Cloud Field Engineer

As a Junior Cloud Engineer, you will work with global enterprises to deploy and manage cloud-native infrastructure. This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting high-performance cloud environments while working on real-world customer projects.

This position is home-based (remote) with global travel (up to 25%) for customer engagements, events, and internal team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using OpenStack, Kubernetes, Ceph, Hadoop, and Spark.

Work across the Linux stack (kernel, networking, storage, applications).

Develop Python-based Kubernetes operators and infrastructure automation.

Collaborate with enterprise clients to enable cloud transformation and DevOps adoption.

Provide cloud consulting, technical training, and architecture support.

Contribute to open-source software projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack, Kubernetes).

Proficiency in Linux administration and networking.

Intermediate to advanced Python programming skills.

Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Passion for open-source technologies and continuous learning.

Willingness to travel internationally (up to 25%).
