Role Summary
The Associate Engineer position in our Research & Development team offers an exciting opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career engineers to gain hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technologies. Based in Hyderabad, India, with a flexible hybrid work model, this role involves active participation in the complete software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with experienced engineers on projects involving .NET / C#, Azure cloud services, Microservices, mobile development (including MAUI, Android, and iOS), and React-based web applications.
This role is ideal for candidates who have a passion for software engineering, a strong desire to learn, and an eagerness to contribute to projects that directly impact the lives of millions.
Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Taking part in the entire software development process, starting from backlog refinement and requirement analysis through to coding, testing, and deployment.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices in software engineering.
- Implementing unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of applications.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative hearing care solutions.
- Gaining exposure to cloud-based architecture, microservices, and mobile-first product development.
- Participating in code reviews to enhance code quality and share knowledge within the team.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- A BE/B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Between 0 and 2 years of professional, academic, or personal project experience in software development.
- A solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and the ability to apply SOLID principles in coding.
- Demonstrated project experience with .NET or C#.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- A willingness to learn modern development tools, including Azure cloud services, Microservices architecture, cross-platform mobile frameworks, and React for frontend development.
Preferred Skills
While not mandatory, the following skills will be advantageous:
- Practical coding experience in C# for web or mobile applications.
- Knowledge of cloud-based deployment models and related security considerations.
- Exposure to cross-platform development tools such as .NET MAUI.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies for collaborative development.
