Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and ambitious DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced R&D team in Bangalore. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a business-critical 24x7 SaaS platform that leverages cutting-edge cloud technologies, AI/ML systems, and scalable microservices.
You’ll work closely with Platform, Software, and Data Engineers across India and Europe, reporting directly to the Engineering Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage source control systems including GitHub
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Oversee AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) clusters with service mesh tools like Istio
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and Packer
- Monitor platform performance, security, and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, grooming, estimation, and retrospectives
- Provide production support and troubleshoot deployment issues
- Support new product rollouts and infrastructure scaling
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 0–3 years of commercial experience in a DevOps or similar role
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Proven knowledge of Kubernetes (especially AKS) and container technologies (Docker, Nginx)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or TeamCity
- Experience with configuration management and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Packer)
- Exposure to cloud-based container registries (ACR, AWS ECR, etc.)
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Ability to thrive in an Agile-SCRUM development environment
Desirable Skills:
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer Expert)
- Previous experience with AWS or Google Cloud
- Experience in cybersecurity or working with SaaS platforms
- Background in MLOps or ML pipeline deployment
- Advanced cloud networking and security concepts
