Job Description
The Software Engineer role at HPE is a full-time onsite opportunity based in Bangalore. The selected candidate will be part of the engineering team responsible for designing, coding, debugging, and supporting a wide range of software applications and products including cloud technologies, databases, networking systems, and DevOps tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and debug software enhancements and new products
- Code and program changes for operating systems, compilers, utilities, and Internet-related tools
- Execute established test plans and protocols; identify and log software bugs
- Collaborate with internal teams and outsourced development partners
- Participate in project teams to develop reliable, cost-effective solutions
- Understand system architecture and contribute to product scalability and performance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- 0–2 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of software design tools and programming languages
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of software development for multiple platform types
- Basic knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging procedures
- Proficient in English (written and verbal)
