Key Responsibilities

Write and maintain software code (50%)
- Develop small code segments (100–300 lines of code per day) within product modules following detailed specifications
- Maintain and improve existing code under the guidance of mentors and team leaders
- Fix bugs discovered during development and testing phases

Build proof-of-concept software (25%)
- Create simple POC projects under strict supervision
- Submit work for review to junior or senior associates or managers
- These are non-live projects aimed at demonstrating understanding and skill application

Learn and apply software engineering principles (15%)
- Study programming languages such as Java or .Net
- Learn syntax, coding practices, and project-specific standards
- Build foundational understanding of financial technologies and apply knowledge to assigned work

Mentorship and review (5%)
- Meet regularly with mentors to review code and receive guidance
- Ensure work aligns with project goals and quality standards

Knowledge sharing (5%)
- Participate in reverse knowledge transfer sessions
- Share newly acquired technical knowledge with fellow team members
Scope and Decision-Making
As a Trainee Associate, you will work under direct supervision and are expected to learn and grow throughout the program. You may:
- Recommend enhancements to existing code modules via proof-of-concepts
- Assist in writing and editing software code under direction
- Apply functional and technical knowledge to develop software of low to medium complexity
- Follow standard development guidelines and learn to evaluate and solve basic technical issues
Minimum Qualifications
- Recent graduates are eligible; internship experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver quality results
- Effective communication skills for global collaboration
- Familiarity with web and app servers such as IIS, Tomcat, Apache, WebLogic
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to scripting (BASH, SSH, PowerShell)
- Experience with APIs (REST, SOAP, XML/JSON, Web API)
- Understanding of AWS Cloud (Cloud Practitioner level preferred)
- Familiarity with writing SQL queries and PL/SQL programming
- Basic knowledge of Java or .Net technologies
- Understanding of Model-View-Controller (MVC) design patterns
- Comfort with Windows, Linux, or Unix development environments

Work Environment
This position follows a Hybrid Work Model, meaning you will split your time between working from home and working onsite at the office.
